Not much to write after few ( Dont know how many) drinks. Wish all Happy New Year, a customary message that you must have heard hundred and thousands number of times. I would wish two more things this year and those are Peace & Happiness.

Bombay blast left me shattered completely and i really don’t know why humans are killing humans. Why can’t they live and let live.  I pay my tribute to all those who became victim of this indiscriminate firing and condolence to grief stricken parents, brothers, wives, and sisters. A tribute from bottom of my heart:

Jindagi ki chand ghadiyon mein………….
Khusiyon ko dhundti unn ghadiyon mein………
jaane kab hui “Jameer” ki maut………..

Kya nahin dekh paayi unn bebas ankho  mein……….
vo sapne jo sanjayo the apno ki rah mein………
sukhe paton ki tarah bikherenge rah mein……..

You must be wondering what made me write this post, well sometimes your most trustworthy seniors or juniors for that matter try to take piss out of you by back stabbing and showing their diplomatic face in front you as if they are the next best thing happen to you.

I really dont know whom to trust or whom one shouldn’t but one thing is clear no matter what ever it takes one has to have his vision and focus clear and dont let these things overcome your bigger goals in life.

This goes without saying that politics is short lived but dreams are yet to be achieved. I admire Steve Jobs, Apple CEO once quoted: “Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish”

Increase your knowledge to next level and let everyone do what ever they want to, you will definitely win this race and outrun your counterparts by some margin.

Summary: Its all about what people wish in a moment win the slight ray of hope. I titled it as “Wings of Wishes”. means “Ichaon Ke Pankh”:

I wrote this poem on 27th June 2004 at 13:17 PM, yes i noted the time when i finished this.

                       Pankh laga udti he ichaye......
			pal mein he aasman cchu jaye......
		Na jaane kisko bana le ye apna......
			purra karti pal mein ye sapna.....

		Roz ek aashiyana he bunti......
			pyar ke phool unme he chunti.......
		chandani ki roshni se karti he ujyala......
			taron ne dekho purre ghar ko sajadala.....		

		Ichaye to he maan ke hi saaye ......
			begano ko bhi apna sa banaye......

		Na jeevan ke gamon se ghabraye.......
			Ichayon ke pankhon se udate hi jaye.....

		Pankh laga udti he Ichaye ....
			pal mein he aasman cchu jaye....

Hope you guys will understand this as one can go on n on thinking wild and why not. Keep you dreams alive and shoot the moon so that atleast you will end up with Stars.

One day sitting at the dawn of another sun set, i don’t know what prompted me express my thoughts and here I am. What encourages me to write was, I have a friend who herself was a good writer and asked me to write as well. I don’t know why she insisted me  to write. I must thank for finding this hidden treasure in me.

Work Hard to Shine like a Star

When we were working on our website Yatra.com, we wanted literally everything to be there. Be it a new product for indian online consumer, to a new feature probably not seen so far, so on and so forth.

We just wanted everything to be perfect from the day one. Hence taking some time in changing layouts, adding functionality, testing etc.

Then one day, Ex Indiatimes.com e commerce head Mr. Rajesh Sahni came and saw us. I listened him carefully and his words gave me a lesson to keep in mind for my future endeavors:

“Perfection is a Dream, Keeping Chasing it but do not hold things to make them perfect“

Little that i knew that this rule will become a working lifestyle for everything I handled thereafter. We keep on working on single product and literally waste our time without seeking customer’s opinion to improve upon it.

Google has a simple philosophy of paying less attention to UI and instead let users to decide what they need. We know how Gmail has evolved strating from Beta to making it a full fledged email application.

I used to write poems many years back and thought of sharing one of my all time favourite poem that won some accolades between friends and family

One soul wants to fly……….
Never know where to head…
To acheive what it perceive……….
Break all the rules that deceive…
wants to fly above the mountains………
to feel the solitude of those terrains..
wants to float with the stars………..
to feel what it takes to reach that Far…
wants to circle around the moon……
to know why it is sooo Doon….
Wants to fly Day n Night ………….
to know why people fight……
Wants to end its JOURNEY in LIGHT……..
With loooooots of Flowers inside……
One soul just waanna fly …….
